These illustrations explore typography and high-contrast patterns with limited color. Inspiration for this project lies in reference to research for my masters thesis on exploration of early visual literacy, from infancy to early childhood.
Illustrations were created combining both digital and handmade work; including ink drawing, watercolor painting, and printmaking. They accompany a self-written poetic text about the changes in time and place, both naturally and unnaturally occurring.
Grayscale or minimal color work, middle grade, and spot illustrations.
